Alert Cops the Spanish Police App in English

AlertCops is a fantastic app available on both Android and Apple phones, which allows you to report a crime or accident without making a call. It’s available in various languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Basque) so ideal for non-Spanish speakers.

Operated by the National Police, Guardia Civil and the Ministry of the Interior, you can use AlertCops to report any type of crime, e.g.  robberies, assaults, fights, sexual assaults, acts of gender violence, hate crimes, home occupations, animal abuse, missing citizens, bullying or vandalism.

You can upload photos and audio (which could be used later in court), and the app even has GPS to help locate people in distress plus an SOS button to call for immediate assistance.

There are three levels of protection (high, medium or low) and you can activate different functions at each level.
