Big Update – How to book an appointment at the BLS London office for a Non Lucrative Visa

Over the past weekend, individuals seeking to apply for a non-lucrative visa through the Consulate General of Spain in London faced a stressful situation. An email with necessary information regarding visa appointments was sent out, confusing many. However, we’ve got you covered with the latest updates and a step-by-step guide to help you through this process.

The Email Announcement

In an email dated Friday the 29th, the Consulate General of Spain in London made a significant announcement:

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Starting from 1st October 2023, all visa appointments at the Consulate General of Spain in London must be booked exclusively through the BLS International London website at:

https://uk.blsspainvisa.com/london/index.php

Website Issues

However, when eager applicants rushed to the website provided, they were met with frustration. Many pages were not functioning, and the dreaded “Error 404” message appeared. It seemed impossible to find a direct link to book an appointment.

Seeking Clarification

In light of these challenges, Upsticks took the initiative to seek clarification from BLS London. They discovered that the website was undergoing updates to accommodate the NLV (non-lucrative visa) booking system. Hope for those eager to apply for their visas.

Booking an Appointment

While the website is being revamped, applicants can take the following steps to secure their appointments:

Step 1: Call the dedicated appointment booking number at (0044) 7823 663485. The phone lines are open from 8:30 AM to 5 PM UK time.

Step 2: Be prepared for some persistence, as the phone line can often lead to a full mailbox. However, it’s worth the effort, as Upsticks has successfully booked over ten appointments using this method.

Step 3: Currently, only a name and surname are required to make an appointment.

Stay Informed

We will inform you of further developments in this process. While it may be challenging, with determination and patience, you can navigate the temporary difficulties and secure your non-lucrative visa appointment in London.

The process may have had a rocky start, but there’s hope on the horizon for those looking to apply for non-lucrative visas. Keep an eye on our updates; we’ll ensure you have the latest information to ease your journey.
