National Police Station Cartagena – Foreigner’s Office

If you live in the province of Murcia, your NIE, EU residency or TIE card application appointment could be at the Foreigner’s Office (Extranjeria) of the National Police Station (Comisaria de Policia) in Cartagena.

Parking is easy. There is plenty of free parking HERE or paid parking to make your life even easier HERE

We’ll email full details of the documents you’ll need with your appointment booking, and a few days beforehand, we’ll send details of the meet up point and contact information for the appointment specialist who’ll be meeting you at the Police Station.

Most importantly, don’t forget your passport and, for NLV renewals, your current TIE card!  

As appointments are available throughout the morning, it’s an excellent opportunity for a day out. Here are a few ideas of places you can visit:

  • Calblanque Regional Park: Experience the natural beauty of Calblanque Regional Park, known for its pristine beaches and hiking trails with diverse ecosystems, plants, wildlife, and breathtaking views
  • Cartagena Port: Stroll along the picturesque Cartagena Port, where you can see various ships and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere
  • Museum of Underwater Archaeology: Immerse yourself in history at the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, showcasing artefacts from shipwrecks in the region
  • Bateria de Castillitos: Venture to Bateria de Castillitos, a historic military fortress with stunning panoramic views of the coast
  • Cartagena’s Beaches: Calblanque Beach, Playas de la Manga, Cala Cortina, Playa de Levante, and Playa de Galúa are all fantastic hotspots for sunbathing in summer and leisurely walks in winter
  • Tapas and Cuisine: End your day by indulging in the local cuisine and trying traditional Spanish tapas at various restaurants and bars in the city. But you haven’t lived until you’ve tried the pig ears tapa in the Bodega Nicolas
