Discover Andalusia from Above: A Journey Through the Coast, the City, and the Mountains

Andalusia is a region of Spain rich in contrast, culture, and character — and we’ve captured three stunning journeys that showcase just how varied and beautiful it can be, all from a bird’s eye perspective.

Our first video takes you on a coastal-to-inland drive starting in Los Álamos, Torremolinos. This seaside area, known for its beaches and laid-back vibe, quickly gives way to the busy Plaza Mayor shopping complex, a popular retail destination just outside Málaga. From there, the route heads through the residential and traditionally Spanish neighbourhood of Churriana, known for its connection to Malaga Airport and its authentic local charm. The drive finishes in El Romeral, a leafy, peaceful district in Alhaurín de la Torre that offers a slower pace of life and scenic views of the surrounding hills.

The second video takes us right into the heart of historic Málaga. This walk captures the essence of the city’s cultural heritage, starting on the stylish pedestrianised boulevard of Calle Larios, lined with boutique shops and elegant architecture. From there, we explore the Roman Theatre, an open-air archaeological site dating back to the 1st century BC, before continuing to the majestic Cathedral of Málaga, affectionately nicknamed La Manquita due to its unfinished south tower.

The third and final video takes you deep into rural Granada province, beginning in the quiet whitewashed village of Ventorros de San José, nestled in the hills. From there, we wind down through the olive-covered countryside to the larger town of Loja. With sweeping shots of mountainous terrain and narrow hillside roads, this journey shows the tranquil, timeless side of Andalusia that many visitors miss.

Each of these videos offers a unique angle on life in southern Spain — from coastal town convenience and historic city grandeur to the rustic serenity of inland villages. Whether you’re considering a move to Andalusia, planning a visit, or simply dreaming of Spanish sunshine
