Bambi & JoJo: From TV Screens to Spanish Caravan Dreams

Bambi & Jojo: From TV Screens to Spanish Caravan Dreams

This week, we had the pleasure of sitting down for a heartwarming and insightful podcast episode with Bambi and Jojo – a duo many will recognise from the popular TV series Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun. But there’s more to these two vibrant women than just their on-screen charm. They’ve taken their personal friendship and colourful backgrounds and turned them into a thriving business helping people start new chapters in Spain through caravan living.

The podcast episode offers a genuine look into how Bambi and JoJo met and how their business came to life. Jojo first met Bambi as a customer, buying her very first mobile home after a challenging time in her life. Bambi, who was working for another company back then, not only sold her a home but offered friendship and support during what Jojo describes as a life-saving transition. As they later discovered, their paths had actually crossed 30 years earlier in the entertainment world – Bambi as a dancer and Jojo as a singer. That shared showbiz background has given them a natural flair for connecting with people and putting clients at ease.

Together, they officially launched their own caravan sales business in July 2023, starting with just one caravan and a shared dream. What sets them apart is their deeply personal approach to the business. Rather than sticking to the transactional norm, they focus on building real relationships. From airport pickups to park introductions, they’re there for their clients every step of the way. Their ethos is simple: client happiness comes before profit margins. They understand that for many people, especially those relocating or retiring, buying a caravan is about more than just purchasing a property – it’s about starting a whole new life.

Their growing success hasn’t gone unnoticed. Thanks to their continued appearances on Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun – now into its 13th series – Bambi and Jojo have become household names. That visibility has certainly helped their business, but what really shines through is how authentically they present themselves, both on and off screen. Whether they’re in trainers or jeans, they’re proud to do things differently and show that success doesn’t have to come at the cost of individuality or kindness.

During the podcast, we also got a glimpse into their values and vision for the future. Their partnership is grounded in mutual respect and a sense of humour, with each bringing unique strengths to the table. They’re also committed to diversity and representation in the industry, and it’s been wonderful to hear how they’ve inspired clients from all walks of life – including many people of colour and single women – to take the leap and move to Spain.

From their experience in park development to their support with caravan resales, Bambi and Jojo offer far more than just a product – they provide a pathway to a new lifestyle. Their story is one of resilience, friendship, and the belief that business can be both profitable and personal.

To hear more about their inspiring journey and get a true sense of the warmth and wisdom they bring to everything they do, we highly recommend giving this podcast episode a listen. It’s not just about selling caravans – it’s about hope, humour, and making a difference, one mobile home at a time.
