In order to live in Spain, UK passport holders need to apply for a Non-Lucrative Visa at a visa processing centre and each centre covers a specific area of the country.
If you live in Wales, the Isle of Man or anywhere between Northamptonshire and North Yorkshire, your processing centre is BLS in Manchester.
IMPORTANT:
You’ll only need to visit the Consulate if you choose the option to collect your visas rather than having your passports posted to you.

Getting there – BLS
By car – Parking is limited, so head for the NCP Salford New Bailey and it’s a 10 minute walk via the tunnel under the railway to BLS offices. Click here to pre-book your parking space.
By Train – You’d need to travel to Salford Central and then walk round the corner onto Chapel Street where the BLS office is located.
By Bus – There are many bus services from the centre of Manchester to Salford, perhaps the easiest to find is from Piccadilly Gardens. Stop P, services 37, 35 and 36 run from every 10 minutes and the journey takes around 20 minutes in total.
